Errors Make Progress
Some parents are strong supporters on “errors make progress”, while it is obvious that not everyone thinks the same way.
Some parents think teachers should correct students’ errors whenever they make mistakes. Firstly, they believe if you turn a blind eye to their behavior it might be harmful to their development. Secondly, the mistakes that occur in their learning process should be corrected to help them learn from mistakes avoid repeating them.
Others holding the opposite view argue that mistakes should be ignored teachers should only praise good actions. They believe that negative actions are a natural part of the learning process. Correction could not only jeopardize students’ wonder curiosity in learning but also prevent them from constructing their own way of learning.
My opinion on it is errors should be corrected surely students can acquire a lot by analyzing the mistakes they once made. However, minor errors can be neglected in many cases if they don’t affect the learning process itself.
